OK, so it's no accident. Probably still possible to shrink the diff
(hence the size of the xmir patch) with some careful merging of
identical/similar things.

  Files ./hw/xfree86/dri2/dri2ext.c and hw/xmir/dri2/dri2ext.c differ

  Files ./hw/xfree86/dri2/Makefile.am and hw/xmir/dri2/Makefile.am differ
  Only in ./hw/xfree86/dri2: pci_ids
