I run a second monitor with zaphod head mode. The fonts on any application on the second monitor are randomly broken. I tried to fix the individual applictions - gedit, xfce- terminal, eclipse. But the problem keeps returning. I found the error, and solution here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54707 The 2.99.212 driver seems to include the fix: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/tree/NEWS but the current version available with the package manager does not include the fix: ii xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.99.910-0ubuntu1 amd64 X.Org X server -- Intel i8xx, i9xx display driver I'd like to get that version pushed forward if possible.
