Support for these fonts has been removed for a very long time and it is now recommended to use modern OpenType MATH fonts instead (https://developer.mozilla.org/en- US/docs/Mozilla/MathML_Project/Fonts). Hence the firefox package should instead suggest the following math fonts: * Latin Modern = "computer modern" style used by default in LaTeXn compatible with the old true type fonts. * STIX fonts (fonts-stix) = fonts created by a consortium of scientific orgs, with large unicode coverage for math symbols. (Note that Debian already suggests STIX and I opened https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=792012) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1473552/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
