NVIDIA Corporation GT215 [GeForce GT 320] [10de:0ca2] (rev a2) I have exactly this graphic card and I am having freezing problems. I cannot ctrl+alt+f1 to a TTY. I cannot ssh from outside the machine into a TTY. I just can push the switch off button of the PC.
Normally occurs when: - I go for lunch and after an hour of inactivity I found the PC frozen. - I am browsing the web with firefox ...suddenly the mouse starts to stop and go and finally is frozen. - I have changed to epiphany to navigate the web ( in case it was firefox),..but the same happens. - The CPU seems to be working at high rates when occurs, since the fan increases its speed. - I was doing a big backup of the system for hours (overnight) and the next morning the PC was OK, then I started epiphany and ...get frozen once more. Any solution? Thanks a lot in advance p.s. do not try bumblebee since after installing and unstalling brakes the Xorg system.
