Hangs forever installing this package

Bug description:
I downloaded Skype for Ubuntu from:
http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-linux/downloading/?type=ubuntu64
I double click on the .deb file, it opens with Ubuntu Software Center.
I click on Install.
At approximately 15-20% of progress, it gets stuck and waits forever.
If there something wrong with the package, an error message should be
issued.
