Title: Syntax highlight (JS): Portions of expressions between / and / taken as regular expressions Status in GtkSourceView Widget: Fix Released Status in gtksourceview3 package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: See screenshot. This is a JS file. There are portions of expressions that are incorrectly highlighted in pink as if they were strings. There is no syntax error before or after the captured portion of text. The script is parsed as expected by the javascript interpreter, so the syntax highlight is wrong. Oh my ******* god, I see what the problem is!! The portion between "/" and "/" are highlighted as if they were regular expressions. But they aren't, nor does the parser of the language interpreter interpret them as such, so the syntax highlighting is wrong.
