Teo, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As per http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available (2.21). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything?

That is, the system did not reboot, but I had to login again (and all the apps that were open were not anymore, and all the unsaved data lost, obviously). This indicates a xorg crash, right? I hope apport will automatically attach the logs needed to track the cause of the crash. Obviously this is not reproducible (or at least I have no clue how to reproduce it).
