I've tested the PDF included by Christopher and I observe the exact same behavior as with some of my other PDF documents.

LTS), the thumbnail generation on evince 3.10.3 became very slow. Whenever loading the next thumbnail image, evince completely hangs. This makes reading documents very annoying.
