@dino99 : the bug is invalid for nvidia-graphics-drivers-331-updates but still exists. As seen in a "useless" comment, this must be a stop for people coming from MS Windows.
When you look at the workaround, it may be a lightdm or apt bug. What do you suggest ? Flagging this bug as invalid seems OK, but not sufficient nor constructive. A workaround is a workaround, not a fix nor an acceptable situation.
