Thank you for your bug report, it's there in a guest session on Oneiric
so I guess that was fixed since or that you upgraded from some old
version where the default Download location was the Desktop directory

Downloads directory missing from Nautilus bookmarks

Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
While other default directories (e.g. Documents, Music, Pictures, and
Videos) are present in the bookmarks pane of Nautilus, the Downloads
directory is not.
I am not sure if this is a bug - I thought this was present in
previous versions of Ubuntu. Feel free to mark this bug invalid if
this is intentional.
