The correspondng issue on the Synergy project is Issue 4041: <https://github.com/synergy/synergy/issues/4041>
The following workaround (for the server running Windows) described there worked for me: 1. Locate synergys.exe in the Program Files (or Program Files (x86)) directory 2. Open the Properties dialogue box and switch to the Compatibility tab 3. Click the "Change settings for all users" button, and tick "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" 4. Accept the changes and restart the computer -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1340272 Title: Synergy stuck bottom right Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have been using synergy for some time, between a Windows 8.1 machine to control a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, from today I can use it properly, the mouse icon is stuck in bottom right screen, keyboard works fine, but not the mouse.
