Title: connect/disconnect external monitor causes window positions to be changed Status in Compiz: Incomplete Status in “compiz” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: This is a continuation of bug #763148, which has been marked as resolved. While compiz no longer moves windows between workspaces, it still moves the windows around within each workspace, and in particular tends to wrap windows that are far to the right/bottom over to the left/top. The expected behavior is that, if there is a saved geometry for a window, it's restored; and if the window is off the new window geometry, the window is /shifted/ to fit on the workspace instead of being wrapped. This was working 100% correctly for me as of commit 3646 on lp :~compiz-team/compiz/0.9.9/ back in April, but it almost immediately regressed due to behavior changes in a different plugin and was broken by the time 13.04 released.
