Title: Umlaut throws off ibus IME Status in “ibus” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I would like to be able to write Japanese and German at the same time (other languages with non-ASCII characters will likely have the same problem). When I am in IME mode for Japanese and type 'München' ibus will correctly go into non-conversion mode after the capital letter 'M'. The succeeding Umlaut will throw off the conversion engine. Obviously, 'ü' is a nonconverting letter. It would be nice if ibus handled the situation more gracefully.
