141009 update of kernel to 3.13.0-37-generic. This time my system's bricked. Boot proceeds to login screen with all it's features but displayed with various resolutions on different interations. After signin, system hangs. Went to the 1st backup kernel: that worked. I'm looking at new video card (AMD) or new distro but my wallet says new distro. I'll run on the older kernel for a while.
