** Tags removed: gnome panel ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 150857 gnome-panel's "autohide" moves it off-screen rather than hiding -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/326892 Title: panel 'hide' buttons only cause panel to 'move' onto secondary monitors Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: In panel properties I made the following change: [ticked] Show hide buttons [ticked] Arrows on hide buttons By using the arrows and moving the panel to the other right-handed screen it moves, but it keeps the size the first screen had. I.e. it does not adapt to the new screens resolution. Edit 2: When I'm thinking of this, the arrow is used to "hide" the pannel. Not change screen where it should be located. Therefore, a solution is to "hide" it properly by doing some opacity or decrease the width on it or something.
