On my Ubuntu 14.04 and have the same problem. When trying create new tab
selecting menu or use right mouse, gnome-terminal is crashes all
instance on all workspaces.  Ubuntu 64-bit on AMD Phenom(tm) II N970
Quad-Core Processor with VGA Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI]
RS880M [Mobility Radeon HD 4225/4250]. Gnome-termina 3.10.2. In Unity no
problem only in Gnome 3 session.

  Terminal Crashes After calling any item from the menu bar

Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.10
  Gnome-Shell 3.7.3
  Gnome Terminal 3.6.0

  Every time i'm trying to create a new tab or activate any of the items in the
  menu bar by the mouse or combination of the keys "Alt+F" it's simply crashes.
  Is there anything else i can add?
