Public bug reported: I don't know whether this is supposed to be a new brilliantly designed feature which is "working as [wrongly] intended" or if it is just a regression, but it is certainly annoying.
When an application opens up a window of another application, what used to happen (and the correct and expected behavior) was that that window was given focus. Now it is not. It is just highlighted in a barely perceptible way in the Launcher. Examples: - in Thunderbird, click a link in an email => this opens the link in a new tab in the default Browser (Google Chrome in my case). Google Chrome should be given focus but it isn't. Its icon in the Launcher just is highlighted - In Google Chrome, download a file. Then, when it appears on the bottom, click the down arrow next to it and choose the "show in folder option". This opens a new Nautilus windows. This window isn't given focus as it should, and again is only slightly highlighted in the Launcher.
