*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 883272 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883272
Confirmed also on HP 2230s laptop (Core 2 Duo, GM45). I am also using the touchpad. Mouse cursor and video player controls do not appear in full screen. However, sometimes when moving the mouse cursor around rigorously for a longer time, the controls and mouse cursor do appear. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 883272 Mouse navigation not working in fullscreen mode -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161689 Title: Movie player controls don't show up in fullscreen when using a trackpad Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Using a HP Proobook 4530S, the trackpad works fine - except when I open a video in the movie player and make it fullscreen, moving the mouse with the trackpad does not make either the cursor or the controls appear. They do appear if I plug in a USB mouse and move that instead.
