Title: nvidia-331-updates-uvm 331.38-0ubuntu7: nvidia-331-updates-uvm kernel module failed to build (with kernel v3.14.4-utopic) Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers-331-updates” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Currently, I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with 3.14.1 kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ 1. ) I simply tried installing nvidia-331-updates-uvm package from Ubuntu 14.04 repository, and the package installation "failed" (build problems registering kernel module). (I was installing just this one package, nothing else). 2.) Afterwards, when package was installed. I tried installing 3.14.4 kernel from the same source (URI). The same build problem occured. => It seems that this package version of simply not prepared for 3.14.x kernel.
