With a dual monitor setup using the Nouveau display driver, when the
screens turn off after a period of inactivity as set in the Power
Management settings, both screens will initially turn off but then the
secondary monitor will immidiately turn back on again. So only the
primary monitor will be in standby and the secondary monitor is still
on.
If I load the proprietary nVidia driver then both monitors will go into
standby as expected.
This issue is present in both Mint 16 Petra and also in the new Mintr 17
Qiana RC.
