Title: Libreoffice 4.2.3 cannot open encrypted microsoft xlsx and docx documents Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Libreoffice 4.2.3 cannot open encrypted xlsx and docx files. Previous versions 4.1 could open them. Libreoffice team have acknowledged the bug and released fix in version 4.2.4 (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76222) I have tested with the libreoffice-4-2 paa (https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/libreoffice-4-2) and 4.2.4 does resolve the bug. Can this be considered for inclusion into 14.04 as an update/point release/backport?
