For example messages when downloading new mails or telling there are no new mails are never shown. This problem solves at every new Thunderbird update installed, but re-occurs after 2 or 3 days. Deactivating and reactivating the status bar doesn't solve. Reproduced on Ubuntu 14.04 and 13.10.
