The old tag remains. Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application: Unknown Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After changing the names of the ID3 tags the updates don't show up in Rhythmbox. There should at least be an easy graphical way to reload/update the library, or better yet, have it detect changes automatically. I have to do it manually by deleting ~/.local/share/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml every time I edit a tag of a song.
