Bug description:
Earlier version of Rhythmbox (2.9x) showed the notifications about
played music track (title, cover, etc), but with Rhythmbox 3.x there
is no notifications at all. Also Sound Indicator displays no
information about the currently playing track (like in the
screenshots) - instead of cover there is circle of dots (changing in
square when hovering mouse on it).
