Title:
Unreliable Suspend/Hibernate on Dell D630
Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pm-utils
I have a Dell Latitude D630 and am running Ubuntu 9.04. When I enter
Suspend or Hibernate, the machine seems to shut down ok but only about
10% of the times does it properly resume. I have tried to think of
reasons why it resumes 10% of the time but haven't had anly luck - it
seems random, though I'm sure it isn't.
I had the same problem when running Ubuntu 8.10.
I have ran the Suspend/Resume tests suggested on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/SuspendResumeTesting and have
attached a zip containing the log files (stored in /var/lib/pm-utils)
to this bug. Please contact me if more info is required.
Thanks,
Kevin.
