Title:
  acpi failure low volume

Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I have an ASUS X50GL,

the battery is not detected and there are problems to halt the system
  (it does not switch off).

Also the volume of the speakers is very low.

Hotkeys (volume level, brigthness, ...) are not working.

Some of the problems are not present in previous kernels (I am using
2.6.27-11-generic in 8.10) but with them I have problems with the
  video card and wireless card.

  Thank you.
