EdgarPE, try to find out if either: - the iOS 7 device was coupled with the specific hardware before ugrading to iOS 7 or - the Ubuntu 12.04 installation is not yet updated to a newer kernel (or upgraded to a newer kernel after coupling with the iOS 7 device for the first time)
