Title:
1002:9552 [Aspire 4810T] Ati HD 4330 + fglrx + HP x23LED screen =
wrong resolution
Status in “fglrx-installer” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I have a freshly installed Precise on an Acer 4810TG laptop that has an Ati
Mobility Radeon HD 4330 video card and an HP x23LED fullHD (1920*1080) screen.
The screen is connected to the laptop but it does not find the correct
resolution. The resolutions that it can find can be seen in the Xorg log
(Modeline):
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/116135375/XorgLog.txt
The screen works fine with another Ubuntu 12.04 box that has a different
video card (nVidia).
WORKAROUND: There is no problem with the open source radeon driver.
