"Select disc to copy" field always blank

Bug description:
When I choose "Disc copy", the select box under the label "Select disc
to copy" is blank, even though there are only one alternative. After
choosing the (only) alternative, the select box is still blank, even
though it obviously got chosen. Makes a rather unpolished impression.
