Title:
  Constant 20-30% cpu time

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
On my Lenovo S10-2 netbook, I find that netbook-launcher is using 20-30% cpu
constantly.
It starts right after reboot and does not slow down no matter how long I wait.

  Screenshot from top is attached.
System monitor reports that the process is waiting for i915_do_wait_request.

I am running 10.04 netbook remix. I have been sticking to defaults
since I installed the system and has generally been happy with it.
Lately it seems slower though. I did not notice how long I had this
problem, but I don't think it was there a month ago.

Please let me know if there is any extra info I can provide.

  Thanks
  - Lasse
