Confirmed here too. Interesting thing I noticed is that when you click
"Edit", the event name is in the "Summary" field. Perhaps Google's
Calendar API changed and has become misaligned with what Evolution
expects.

Would love a fix or workaround!

  When Evolution syncs from Google Calendar, event reminders are
  displayed at the right time, but the title of the popup is “This is an
  event reminder” instead of the correct text.
