Title:
[Dell Vostro 2420] Internal speaker does not show up in "Sound
  settings"

Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  CID: 201202-10592

This is a SRU system which is running 12.10 (3.5.0-34-generic
  #55-Ubuntu)

The internal speaker does not show up in "Sound settings"
But I can still play sound through the internal speaker normally (like
pressing the volume button)
And if you connect a headset to it, there will be a "Headphones" option
available in the "Play sound through" list
