Dear all, This is quite likely due to an nvidia signal processing issue which has been solved in a (yet unreleased) driver, see https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/659230/linux/331-20-on-x86_64 -breaks-signal-processing-/
(and https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/638521/linux/gnome- terminal-problems-ctrl-c-and-exit/ and https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/633706/linux/recent-drivers- cause-applications-to-hang-not-start-at-all-or-compilation-failures/ and https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487558) There are lots of distributions affected, and also lots of different software. See if the issues are gone if you downgrade to the 325.15 nvidia driver, if yes: you were affected by this, wait for the new driver.
