Title:
update to GTK 3.9 and the issues to resolve for it

Status in Themes for Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “gtk+3.0” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
In gedit 3.9 (currently only in gedit git master) the file browser
sidebar has a new toolbar. It looks wrong in Ambiance - see the
attached screenshot. The upstream gedit developers pointed me to the
following Adwaita commit, which we may need to merge into Ambiance for
  this to look right:

  standard/commit/?id=a83cf6d6020534f165c2e8f29792007f8f8f01a0
