I can also confirm this problem with gedit tabs on 12.04 with Nvidia 319.32.

They seem to be rendering issues but reproducing them can be difficult as it sometimes works fine. I am using official Nvidia drivers, but switching between official and Ubuntu drivers didnt help. Any help would be much appreciated!
