@madbiologist (s-j-turner) I updated my kernel to 3.11.4 using this guide: http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2013/10/linux-kernel-3-11-4 -released-upgrade-in-ubuntu/ But it doesn't seem to have fixed the error.
