Title:
  Better Feedback for failed WebCal

Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool:
  Unknown
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: evolution

  Dear developers

I'm trying to import my own webcal internet calendar in my Evolution
calendar. If I do so, there aren't any new entries in the calendar and
unfortunately no error message appears.
The logs of the select Apache server says "error 200 - ok", the size of the
file is correct, too. So, the document is delivered correctly.
By the way, importing through a local calendar works fine with the same file.

It would be much better if Evolution would show more information why
the import fails. Debugging my iCal-file would be much easier. At the
moment, I have absolutely no clue what the problem could be.

I import a webcal like this (I think this is the usual way):
  1. Change to calendar, 2. Right click 3. Select "New Calendar" 4. Select "In
the Web", enter a name and a webcal:// adress 5. Press OK.

  Thank you
  Roman
