Title:
gvfsd-gphoto2 crashed with SIGABRT in g_mutex_lock()

Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I received this error and was directed here while importing photos
from a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Shotwell. I should note that,
unlike this attempt made using Ubuntu 12.04 before upgrading this
morning to assuage this very issue, the import worked without flaw. In
12.04 no thumbnails were shown while browsing the photos on the phone
in Shotwell's UI and the import crashed Shotwell. Using 13.10
  everything seemed to work.
