fixed somewhere between bug filing & release, marking invalid ** Changed in: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid

Only a white screen is displayed. As it stands totem is the only player, (i've found), that doesn't decode these files properly, banshee, vlc, mplayer, ect are fine. High 4:4:4 is commonly produced by FFmpeg now & while avconv generally does "main" & avconv (plain9) will do "high" that's somewhat irrelevant. To test encode a vid in high444 or high422 & attempt playback in totem (Videos), or in a browser using the totem-mozilla plugin, display will likely be white screen attached a small screen cap for convenience if needed ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.36-1ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.7.0-7.15-generic 3.7.0 Uname: Linux 3.7.0-7-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.7-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Jan 5 03:34:35 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-12-28 (7 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Alpha amd64 (20121228) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gstreamer0.10 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/1096311/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
