I am using a laptop Fujitsu S7110 and just did a fresh install 12.04. I did the standard OS update after running the fresh install from the CD and I don't get any sound from the speakers. The Alsa log file can be found here: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=83443eabc64a7d840001f687e9a8634df57226b1 I am kind of desesperate about this bug and might switch (after several years of using Ubuntu) to an other distribution. Any help would be welcome.
