I don't even like that to happen by default when on battery. :-/ Let's say I'm a new user that just installed Oneiric. I have a notebook that has five hours of battery time. I start a download and go grab some lunch. Scenario 1: When I return I find my system sleeping rather than the download finished. Scenario 2: My notebook fails to wake up from standby and I've now successfully lost two hours of work.
