Title:
desktopcouch-service hangs up CPU
Status in “desktopcouch” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: desktopcouch
At times, desktopcouch-service uses up to 200% of the CPU, and staying
there for at least 30 seconds. This left me with no choice but to kill
the process, to avoid overheating my processor (which brought my AMD
Dual Core Athlon dangerously close to 100 degrees Celsius). I was not
searching contacts, but Evolution Mail was idle in the background.
