GNOME 3.8 isn't supported for Ubuntu 12.10. If you want to use GNOME 3.8
you can either use Ubuntu 13.10 Alpha or you can try Ubuntu 13.04 with
the GNOME3 PPA.

Bug description:
  After start evolution in Gnome 3.8 i got lots GTK errors (below), then
  main window appear for second and application crash. In Unity on the
  same system everything works fine.
