Ran four tests tonight, all x86. See summary below: 1. Quantal, Testdrive, KVM - Presented with login prompt as noted in original bug report, however, was not even able to login. After entering password, it just brought me right back to login prompt. 2. Quantal, Virtualbox 4.2.12 - did not have problem. 3. Raring, Testdrive, KVM - did not have problem. 4. Raring, Virtualbox 4.2.12 - did not have problem.

After reboot, login screen shows up with no password field. Have to click user name to get password prompt. After entering password, you are returned to the login screen. If you select XFCE session, login works. After logging out, you can then select Xubuntu session and login works. Subsequent logins work okay after rebooting.
