Title:
Parts of the screen are black using VNC

Status in “vinagre” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Ubuntu: 12.04-alpha1 amd64
  Vinagre: 3.3.4-0ubuntu1

Expected: full desktop should be visible if the window is larger than
the resolution of the remote computer

Actual: See attached image. The right hand and bottom of the screen is
black quite a ways off the edge of the actual resolution (The red
lines are about where the right and bottom edges of the server
actually is). This happens connecting to at least two different VNC
servers (RealVNC and UltraVNC) on two Windows platforms (Server 2003
and Server 2008). I don't have an OS X or Linux box with a VNC server
handy to test if it is Windows servers only(I doubt it is). Connecting
to the attached server works fine with the vinagre in 11.10 (both i386
and amd64). I have to make the vinagre window smaller than the server
resolution and use the scrollbars to "uncover" parts of the screen
  hidden by the black areas.

Other possible factors: I am going over a vpn connection, so cannot
test if it works fine in a lan type environment.

(Also: I had to blur parts of the photo, sorry :-) )
