Title: onscreen keyboard not working Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: How to reproduce: -Go to the top right and enable the onscreen-keyboard -Try to use the onscreen keyboard to give in the password, it does not work. What I expected to happen: I expected to be able to login using only the on-screen keyboard. Additional information: It looks like the focus moves to the onscreen keyboard the moment you hover your mouse over it. How to reproduce: -Click on the password field, and start typing (on your physicial keyboard). You see stars appearing to indicate the typed characters. -Now, while typing, move your mouse to the onscreen keyboard -Notice that no more stars appear in the password field, which suggests that your key-presses are no longer sent to the password field ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: lightdm 0.9.7-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-11.18-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-11-generic i686 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu1 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Sep 24 14:06:33 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Beta i386 (20110901) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: lightdm UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/858171/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
