Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

  There is no longer a "custom" radio button in the dialog box at
System->Preferences->Appearance->Visual Effects tab. Furthermore, selecting a
preset configuration will overwrite your custom configuration.
  To reproduce:
  0. Have Hardy, CompizConfig installed
  1. Set some custom options via CC. I recommend turning on plugins relating
to the cube because they are not favored by the presets
  2. Open the dialog via the aforementioned path
  3. choose a preset (like "none" or "normal")
  4. Look at your settings in CompizConfig. Your custom settings will have
been overwritten.
  In gusty, the custom settings would have been unchanged but ignored until you
played with them again. Now they're overwritten.

  ProblemType: Bug
  Architecture: i386
  Date: Sun May 18 17:46:18 2008
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04
  Package: compiz 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu6
  PackageArchitecture: all
  ProcEnviron:
   SHELL=/bin/bash

PATH=/home/username/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games
   LANG=en_US.UTF-8
  SourcePackage: compiz
  Uname: Linux 2.6.24-16-generic i686

  Update:This is unrelated to the package simple-ccsm. It does add a
  radio button properly (you can tell because the "preferences" button
  opens a "simple" ccsm), but CompizConfig itself won't (see screenshot
  if you cannot tell which compizconfig is broken).
