That's simply because there is no accelerated driver available for your
hw. I suggest running xubuntu/lubuntu or such which might work better.

hello I've tried and tried ubuntu 13.04 on my laptop lenovo s110 N2600
intel atom processor and 2gb ram gma 3600, the desktop looks fluid
does not walk very slow, looking at the monitor of the system is that
the processor goes to 70% and 100 % very slowly eats all CPU resources
and this is not normal for deveria supposedly not ascend all, the
response is very slow programs like desktop graphics effects, I tried
Ubuntu-GNOME to see if performance improves slightly improved graphics
performance but still eating CPU resources by 70% and 100%.
I wonder if someone passes the same error performance with gma 3600

hola he probado e probado ubuntu 13.04 en mi portátil lenovo s110 con
procesador intel atom n2600 gma 3600 y 2gb ram , el escritorio se ve
muy lento no anda fluido , al mirar el monitor del sistema se ve que
el procesador anda en 70% y 100% muy lento se come todos los recursos
del procesador y esto no deveria ser normal por que supuestamente no
esta asciendo nada, la respuesta de los programas es muy lenta igual
los efectos gráficos del escritorio, probé Ubuntu-GNOME para mirar si
mejora el rendimiento y mejoro un poco el rendimiento gráfico pero
sigue comiendo recursos del procesador en 70% y 100%.
quisiera saber si alguien le pasa el mismo error de rendimiento con
intel atom n2600 gma 3600
