Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: You hear a cracking, popping sound when seeking videos. It does not matter if you use vlc or totem, the problem persists. Cracking sound only appears in some avi files. It exists when seeking other files too, but is very silent and you can barely hear it. I launched totem in --debug mode and got this message: "(totem:10560): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: Read/writable property 'object' on class 'ZeitgeistDpPlugin' has type 'TotemObject' which is not exactly equal to the type 'GObject' of the property on the interface 'PeasActivatable'" Does it say something useful? I noticed this problem right after installing Ubuntu. I also remember that in newest version of opensuse the same problem appeared. Release: Ubuntu 12.04 32bit Clean install.
