I learned that the gsd-backlight-helper is trying to change the brightness in
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness but it does not work. I can change the brightness only by /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153173 Title: The slider does not change the brightness Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hello.
